Partial removable

The diversity of dental treatments is completely reflected by the design and confirmation of partial dentures. In the case of particular edentulous areas design for the long run and preparing the most convenient reparation can result in success! No miracle that our clients often react dismissively or with refusal when they hear the phrasing "removable" denture as they will show an old denture with clips in their fantasy. We hope we can persuade you that today we are able to prepare modern removable dentures with roofed anchorage, so that they will not have any detriment in terms of aesthetics, operationally or cleansing!

What expedient do we suggest to you?

Our basic philosophy is that we can extend the quality of your life notably by combining two goals: aesthetics and functionality! Accordingly, our clients should not only use their removable denture for gnawing, but they should also be pleased with its looks. This can be obtained only with customized designing. We can determine what long term alternatives we can suggest you after a thorough monitoring with the help of X-rays.

Removable dentures are prepared with a special covered anchorage (MK1). The root of the matter is that a fixed partial denture is placed on the permanent teeth. Laboratory technicians build a rigid covered anchorage with bolts on the end of the partial denture. The removable part will be fixed here, and the edges will fit comfortably and tightly on the mandibular crest, palate and gum. The MK1 removable denture with covered anchorage is an exquisite result for one- or two-sided edentulous area, can be anchored to both dowel support and implants, has prominent strength and is easy to clean. Correct obscuration and functioning (chewing) is assured by the correct recording of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) movements.

Does a partial removable denture have an effect on the quality of my life?

Most of the people try to gulp or spit out strange materials that get into their mouths. Thereupon the first eight days require exorbitant courtesy, self-discipline and tolerance from patients. It takes some time as long as the human body accepts the denture as if it was genial. Nevertheless, after masticatory muscles and reflexes have got plied to the denture, it will not cause a drawback in the quality of life further.

How long does it last to prepare my removable denture?<

Correct work can only be built on an prominent foundation. If it is not requisite to make a root canal surgery or to extract teeth, then it takes:

  • 2 days to fit for the lower and upper dental arch for the therapy
  • 1 day: recording TMJ (temporomandibular joint) movements
  • + 1 week as long as the work is ended in the dental laboratory!
  • Handing over is the final day. If it is needful to do root canal surgery or extract a root or to do any other kind of oral surgery, bones and soft tissues have to recover first (from 6 to 8 weeks). A transitory solution is suggested for this term, while the permanent one is only made after the mouth has recovered. It is worth passing away the next 2 or 3 days with checking and rectifying smaller errors, recovering incidental upsurges that can eventuate after having started to use the new denture.

What will my removable denture seem?

Just like your natural teeth! The particular denture and the covered anchorage mean no aesthetic detriment. Of course you make allowance for the shape and colour of the denture completely together with your dentist as the laboratory technician will only compose what you wish!

Will I be able to eat and drink with my removable denture?

Yes of course!

Denture is fitted for in an exactly defined position (recording of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) movements), the situation of the lower and upper dental arch are exactly fitted together so that the denture remnant stable during chewing as the lower dental arch is assist from both sides.

Will my removable denture fluster me when I speak?

No! The correct and fitted positioning of dental arches, the stability assured by the anchorage and the naturalistic teeth (in terms of both figure and size) will give you the identical sense and function as your original teeth.

Do I have to use denture glues?

No!

What shall I do with my removable denture during when I sleep?

  • Use your removable denture all day and night in the first few days!
  • Some people say you should not wear it at night – not true!
  • Others say you should wear it round the clock - not true!

We suggested that you take out the denture for the night after a stressful, overdrove day, nevertheless, you can keep it in for the night after a pleasurable, peaceful day. We genuinely hope you will wear it oft-times at night!

How do I have to polish and groom my removable denture and my mouth?

Use tooth paste and tooth brush! It deserves rinsing your denture and your mouth afterwards every meal. Polish your tongue also with the back up of a tooth brush, with overall movements from the back to the front. Apply Tabs and other strong dental appliances only if you can not clean the denture with a tooth brush. Apply it for at most half an hour (not all night), then flush it completely with water. Use 5 minutes day-to-day when you have time to massage the alveolar crest heartily with one of your thumbs, so you can bustle the vascularization of your gum, the nutriment of the alveolar crest and lessen the opportunity of retrogradation of the bone!
